We see the Apostle Paul boldly and unashamedly asking for prayer in his letters. Sometimes, his request is simple and straightforward:

“Brothers, pray for us.” (1 Thess 5:25 ESV)

I have a picture on the desktop of my computer. It is a bittersweet picture. It is a picture of my mom in the final days of her life on this earth. My mom passed away in January of this year, her body finally defeated by cancer.
